Jillian Coker
For as long as she can remember, Jillian has been fascinated by child development. She joins our staff as a recent graduate of Montessori Institute Northwest with AMI certification and is in process of a Masters in Montessori Education through Loyola College. With an undergraduate degree in Art Education, Jillian has had the wonderful opportunity to work with children of all ages in a variety of settings, from after school painting and ceramics classes to full time teaching. After observing and working with children in a downtown Montessori school in New York City, Jillian felt called to pursue the training. She happily relocated to the Pacific Northwest and promises to never look back. In her free time, Jillian enjoys illustrating with watercolor, hiking, gardening, practicing yoga, riding her bike and cooking hearty and healthy meals with family and friends. She is thrilled to join the Sunstone team this year as Children's House Transitions and Aftercare Director!
